A Letter From Bairnsdale Club
19 May 2009.
Hi Penny,
I have just received a copy of your email from Chris. The plan looks wonderful and we are very grateful for your efforts and kindness. We are all (including our club members) excited about our visit as it is our first GFE (Group Friendly Exchange) locally or internationally. It has generated much interest and enthusiasm in the club as has the proposed matching grant project. Even at a District level there is much interest in the proposed project. We also look forward to a long term friendship between our 2 clubs and also the opportunity to learn more about your culture and history.
I must admit though I am very nervous as it is my first trip outside Australia. We look forward to seeing you soon and sharing fun and fellowship.
Kind regards to you, President Yuli and your club members,
